Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA is located in the center of Nara National Park, which is famous for deer and natural beauty. Many world Heritage properties including Todaiji-temple and Kasugataisha-shrine are within walking distance of this forum. Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA is accessed by 20 min walk or 4 min bus ride and 3 min walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, or 10 min bus ride and 3 min walk from JR Nara Station (see below for the detail).

Access to Kasugano International Forum IRAKA

Access methods from JR Nara Station or Kintetsu Nara Station to Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA are as follows. (For guests staying at Piazza Hotel Nara, we will prepare a shuttle bus service between the hotel and the conference venue from October 19 to 22 (see below for the detail).)

• From JR Nara Station: Take Nara Kotsu bus line 77 or 97 (for Kasuga Taisha Honden) from JR Nara Station at east bus stop No. 2 and get off at “Nara Kasugano International Forum Iraka-mae,” and walk for 3 minutes.
  (Or) Take Nara Kotsu bus line 2 (Nara-city loop line/clockwise) from JR Nara Station at east bus stop No. 2 and get off at “Todai-ji Daibutsu-den/Kasuga-taisha Mae,” and walk for 5 minutes.
• From Kintetsu Nara Station: Take Nara Kotsu bus line 77 or 97 (for Kasuga Taisha Honden) from Kintetsu Nara Station at bus stop No. 1 and get off at “Nara Kasugano International Forum Iraka-mae,” and walk for 3 minutes.
  (Or) Take Nara Kotsu bus line 2 (Nara-city loop line/clockwise) from Kintetsu Nara Station at bus stop No. 1 and get off at “Todai-ji Daibutsu-den/Kasuga-taisha Mae,” and walk for 5 minutes.

Hotel Nikko Nara (Banquet Venue) and Piazza Hotel Nara (Accommodation)

Hotel Nikko Nara and Piazza Hotel Nara are in front of JR Nara Station, making it very convenient to access from Kansai International Airport and other places. Hotel Nikko Nara will be a banquet venue. Piazza Hotel Nara will be used as accommodation. click here for details

Access to JR Nara station (or Kintetsu Nara Station)

There are the following ways to access JR Nara Station (or Kintetsu Nara Station) from Kansai International Airport. We recommend using a limousine bus from the airport, as it is the smoothest way. For more details, please refer to the access information for Hotel Nikko Nara.

• Using limousine bus : About 90 minutes by limousine bus from Kansai International Airport to JR Nara Station (or Kintetsu Nara Station).The limousine bus is currently suspended.
• Using Japan Railway (JR) : About 35 minutes from Kansai International Airport to JR Tennoji by Limited Express Haruka, transfer to JR Yamatoji line, about 33 minutes by rapid train to JR Nara Station (12 min walk from JR Nara Station to Kintetsu Nara Station).
• Using private railways : About 39 minutes from Kansai International Airport to Namba by Nankai Limited Express Rapi:t (Nankai Electric Railway), transfer to Kintetsu line, about 40 minutes by rapid train to Kintetsu Nara Station (12 min walk from Kintetsu Nara Station to JR Nara Station)
